Telehealth
If you are unable to attend an appointment in person due to illness, interstate travel etc., our clinicians are always happy to offer Telehealth as an option. Appointments can be completed either over the phone or via a video call.
If you opt for a video call, we will send you a unique link that will take you to our Telehealth system where your clinician will be waiting for you on the other side. There is no need to download any video call software (such as Zoom) to access these sessions.
Your unique video call link can be reused for each session, so keep that somewhere safe. If you lose this link we can resend it to you.
Some hints to help things go smoothly:
- Ensure that your device is fully charged or plugged in before the session begins.
- Be aware that how you position your device (and its camera) will determine what your clinician can see. Practice positioning the device to offer best visibility and comfort for yourself
- Make sure the camera and audio are both turned on and if you are using headphones that they are plugged in or installed correctly
- Ensure that you are connected to the internet
- Contact us a day before your appointment if you are having any technical difficulties or need help getting set up.
