ABOUT ME
Life can feel incredibly challenging at times. My aim is to create a comfortable space for detangling elements of life that feel stuck. I use evidence-based treatments to help older adolescents and adults find understanding, satisfaction, balance and peace within themselves and their relationships. I also enjoy coaching people in techniques to help shift unhelpful mindsets and optimise public performance (e.g., public speaking, job interviews, team leadership). The latter interest was born out of a background in music performance, where I successfully used a combination of psychology and yoga to overcome performance anxiety.
I completed my psychology studies at the University of Tasmania. I have experience across both private and public sectors, including inpatient and community health settings. I also hold diploma level qualifications in yoga teaching and have been a practicing yoga teacher since 2012. My research background is in yoga for trauma recovery.
I hold general registration with clinical endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). I am also a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
Outside of work, I am a keen gardener, bushwalker, traveller and cook.

ABOUT ME
Having decades of experience in hospitality, business management and in the not for profit sector I am currently studying psychology. I’ve worked in the US and across Australia in roles that were customer-focused, exacting and challenging. Now, at Psychology South I love the idea that I am using my powers for good. I’m here to help our clients as well as assisting our clinicians in supporting our clients. I also fix misbehaving printers and cook friands for the team.
Being a (reformed) chef I love to cook, eat and talk about food. Having recently moved to Tasmania with my family, I am happy to call The Channel home; spending time at the beach and seeing all that Tassie has to offer. When I am not at Psychology South, I’m spending time with my family, listening to podcasts and reading (when I should be studying).
ABOUT ME
I grew up in Kingston and have a background in retail, hospitality, and medical administration at a variety of clinics including podiatry, dentistry, and now psychology. What I enjoy the most about working in medical administration is developing relationships with clients and clinicians and bringing the two together for a positive experience. I am passionate about mental health, my own and those around me.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, watching movies (horror movies especially), travelling, exercising, spending time with friends and trying new things. I have a very vocal calico cat who recently has developed a love for being chased around the house, followed by company while she eats.

ABOUT ME
Life can feel incredibly challenging at times.

Now, at Psychology South, I love the idea that I am using my powers for good.
